What is included in the conference fee?
The price includes Metaverse 08 participation as well as the opportunity to visit lectures from the Webinale, the International PHP Conference and the Dynamic Languages World.

Which topics are dealt with in the lectures at Metaverse08?
Metaverse has established itself as the standard for the application of Virtual Worlds in the area of professional communication. For this reason all questions arising from the application of Virtual Worlds in companies, educational institutions and public facilities should be covered. We will address questions concerning marketing, law, organization, security and technique.

Who are the speakers?
The speakers are all high-professionals who have been dealing with the professional application of Virtual Worlds for quite some time, or representatives of companies that offer products in this area.

Which services are additionally included in the conference fee?
The conference fee also includes catering for the days booked. If you have booked two days you have the additional possibility to take part in the evening event.

In which languages are the lectures given?
The lectures will be given in German or in English, depending on the speaker’s choice. The language in which a lecture is given is indicated in the curriculum.

Do participants get slides of the lectures?
Yes. After the end of the conference all participants will be mailed a CD with the lecture materials.

Will there also be an in World event parallel to Metaverse08?
No, not parallel, but there will surely be an in World event concerning Virtual Worlds on the IT Republic alternating with the Real World event.

Are their special recommendations for hotels or special rates for participants?
Yes. There is a list with hotels with which we have agreed upon special rates for participants. Participants will get this list after registration.
